Getting Started Guide

To get started with Herbie, follow these steps:

1. Install the Chrome Extension​

You have two options to install the Herbie Chrome extension:

Option 1: Install from the Chrome Web Store​

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store and download the Herbie extension from the following link:
  2. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation.

Option 2: Install as an Unpacked Extension​

  1. Download the latest release of the Herbie extension from GitHub:
  2. Open Chrome and go to Preferences... -> Extensions.
  3. Ensure that "Developer mode" is checked (upper left corner).
  4. Click on "Load unpacked extension...".
  5. Browse to the chrome_extension folder from the downloaded release and select it.

2. Pin the Extension​

If you want to pin the extension for quick access, follow these steps:

  1. After loading the extension, click on the Extensions icon (puzzle piece) on the Chrome toolbar.
  2. Find Herbie in the list.
  3. Click on the pin icon next to Herbie to pin it to your toolbar.
